Is Charles Darwin in Government Schools?

Although Darwin died long ago, he still has a presence in public schools. The movie, "Expelled", (Ben Stein) attests to this. Why is this an "issue" that matters?
The evolution versus creation argument has a winner in our government run educational system. The battle has been fought, not over what science says, but whose religion, whose worldview, will be taught with public tax dollars.
Both evolution and creation have "faith" presuppositions; they are both theories. Evolution begins with idea that there is no Designer, no Creator. The time plus matter plus chance required for life to begin, of course, begs the question: how did time and matter originate? The orgin of the universe is a philosophical discussion.
Creation is based on the idea that God exists and has an orderly universe. This is obviously one reason methodical study of it can be made. Creation, when properly presented, can compete in the marketplace of ideas. If, however, a premise is ruled out, evidence is selectively admitted or rejected.
Secular Humanism is the religion of public government schools. Evolution is one of the clear indicators of that. We pay for children across America to be churched day in and day out on how to think like a Humanist.
